Noto Arisa has a Mini Album

So uh. Noto Arisa apparently came out with a mini album and a "portrait book" (looks like a mini photobook) on December 30th. Both were sold at Comiket. I'm not sure if they will be or already are available anywhere else, I can find almost no info on it.



There are some pictures of both here at her blog. The mini album is called "No Night Eden" and the portrait book is called "ARi01."



Has anyone heard anything else about this? Seen scans or found tracks from the album? Something to make this worthy of having an actual thread? <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':love:' />

I love her to death and I know she's been frequenting Comiket the last couple years, so it doesn't surprise me this would come out with this kind of release, but I haven't seen anything about it. With things like this, I think we just have to rely on either a really obsessed fan to share it with the community or for a more wide release of this in the future. The photoshoot for that album looks amazing, I need high-res <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... #>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

The only other place I've found that mentions this is a Spanish language blog and it uses the same pictures as her own blog.

The photos are really nice! I had never thought of how pretty Arisa could be although I'm not sure if she knows how to pose yet.

It'll probably see internet light at some point. Out of curiosity, I checked yahoo auctions, and there were copies going from 2500 to 5000(!) yen. One guy wants 6200 for both the photobook and CD. The portrait book says "2009 Winter Issue". Perhaps she will have more at other Comikets (ARi02, etc?)

Hot. I guess that's technically how you catch the attention of wandering Comiket attendees, though...



We definitely need to get some better exposure on this, hopefully it shows up with some different versions that include some of these photo books.

She's 21 though, and can't really help having a baby face. At least the pictures are done in an adult sexy pose rather than one of those cutesy sexy poses that blatantly are trying to make the person look childlike xD

Well there seems to be some racy ones but most of them are cute so I agree with The☆AEUGNewtype, they are probably just trying to call some attention. But I was surprised as well. Still, from what I saw, they were very well done! Love Arisa! I still kinda wish they had kept her in Hellopro, and promoted her to being a full-fledged soloist. We coulda had two adorable GATAS Gals in one place. As much as I love Mano Erina, it's still absurd that Hellopro has just ONE solo artist nowadays. At least when the Elder Club people were around, even if they got next to zero releases, at least there were technically other soloists under the label. Now Mano is the only game in town, ever since early last year I guess. I actually had a hard time accepting her at first. Not because I didn't like her, mind you. I've always thought she was beautiful, likable, etc. I had to defend her to Steve, for the past few years, as his opinion of her was originally the opposite. Thank god he has come around, just recently, and it didn't hurt that she's improved vastly as a performer (with great recent material to boot). The issue, if anything, was the absurd over-promotion she was getting. It was as if they were trying to force someone on us, just to be sure she was well-known enough as a soloist by the time the Elder Club all retired. Just so that Hellopro would never technically have a gap where it had zero soloists in the lineup.

The rip of the CD has made its way to the internet. I put it on the BBS radio if you want to listen before downloading it or something.



Interestingly the the scans of the booklet indicate that Noto herself is one of the producers of the album. Sounds like a nice benefit for having an indie Comiket release. I think her little paragraph in the liner notes seems to say that she also wrote the lyrics, but I'm not sure and I can't find an actual lyricist attribution for the songs in the book.



I can't say I'm really impressed from my first listen. I suppose I'm not exactly a fan of her singing voice. I really like the keyboard/synth sound of the programming in the arrangements of the half of the album that is upbeat; however, I was unable to find a redeeming point to tracks 3 and 4--perhaps in the future when I train myself to like her voice. With its advantage of a huge staff of 10 people or so, I guess it's one of the better "indie" albums released at C77 (that I've been able to listen to), but at over twice the price and with half the tracks of the others, it had better be.

I couldn't remember what her voice sounded like since we didn't really hear much of her in Ongaku Gatas. It's....meh. In the first few songs she sounds like a cross between Koharu and Sailor Moon. The first song (Gozen 2:30 no Kare) was pretty cute, but her voice did get on my nerves a bit. The second and third ones (Jichoutte Oishii no, Ameiro Caramel) I didn't like at all. But then Furimuitte... comes along and she sounds so much better! Her voice reminds me a little of Eri a little at times in that one and High Speed Motion. I guess she was putting on a cutesy/nasal anime voice for the first few to appeal to that crowd, since this was sold at Comiket?



I hope to see more stuff like Furimuitee and High Speed Motion if she continues to do releases. Those two would have made pretty good H!P soloist material.

2:30 is awesome. Her voice is definitely meant to have a bit of the anime-ish sound, but I don't mind at all.



Jichoutte is hilarious, it reminds me of a few anime songs that I've heard. I like the speed changes and arrangement changes within the song, too.



Caramel is a pretty sweet song, just very calm, but also has a bit of that anime ridiculousness to it.



Furimuitte actually ended up as the least interesting song on here to me. It sounds pretty nice, but is honestly just really boring.



High Speed Motion is pretty cool, but it doesn't stand out as much as the first 3 songs to me.





I'm pretty happy with this, I like this style of music. Its kinda funny the songs that a lot of people say they like more than the others are the ones that I like the least. Taking everything as it is and considering this is a really low-budget indies-style release, I love all of these qualities about it. Her voice is a little on the rough side and the mixing is not over-done like a lot of professional mixing, it keeps that very indies feel to it because they didn't over produce. I'll be burning this to a CD pretty soon for sure.

I also think so! Just like EmEl, I'm not a fan of her voice but since she's started that Happy Style gig I've been thinking of how much that voice fits anisongs. And yay! She produced! She's really got potential so I'll keep on cheering for her to press forward. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /weeeh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':whistling:' />
