Don't Say Goodbye [Preview]

Another new preview was featured on the radio this past weekend but this time, it was Melon Kinenbi's turn with there new song. Again, you can preview this song on Youtubeland. (Maybe later, when I am not so tired and lazy, I put a downloadable link here).



Finally in so many years, Melon Kinenbi got some justice and got a really good song. Now, I am not knocking their Hello! Project releases (well, maybe the ones after 2004) but this really brings back who is Melon Kinenbi. They should really stick with a rockish sound for their future singles. Maybe I am getting waaay too excited, but can I be? (Since I felt that Melon Kinenbi was just really nothing when they were in H!P and got some lame ass treatment).

I really like this song... Plus every girl sounds awesome here! Dare I say Ayumi sounds the least fit for this song? Masae sounds less like she's straining, too. She never sounded this pretty in recent H!P stuff... But overall, good song for their first out of H!P release!



I don't think this was mentioned before, but this single is the first of 5 collaboration singles the group is putting out!

I like the little hANGRY & ANGRY filter on Saito toward the end.



The chorus sounds really cloudy, I'm hoping that's just from the preview rip.

Talk about a match made in heaven. Granted I think MKB fares better with a more Pop-rock sound like in Onegai Miwaku no Target. But I like this. I'm glad they're not going anywhere.

Damn, it's really good. Totally rockin' (it does sound very Beat Crusaders, particularly through the chorus) and unpretentious. Looks like some good came of them escaping the H!P Hellhole after all.

This song sounds great. It's very fun and should be interesting to see and hear the chants at concerts. I do find it amusing that Beat Crusaders don't actually sing on the song. I wonder if it will get a PV or not since it's only a limited release.



Can't wait to hear who the next artist for their second collab single is. The single is set to be released July 22nd but the artist won't be announced until this month's Melon Greeting.

Beat Crusaders have done other collabs where they have not sung with the other artist. They are a band, after all, and don't have to sing. Whereas Melon Kinenbi are just singers.



I'm not a huge fan of Beat Crusaders, but I have liked some of their songs, and some of their other collabs. This sounds fairly generic to me, but I'm glad MK is doing something, at least.

I've liked a lot of the stuff Beat Crusaders have done for a number of years now, but this song is just boring. If they would've stuck with their more usual style, this song could've kicked major ass.
