C-ute's Dai Nana Sho "Utsukushikutte Gomenne"

Post by Anderei »

It's got HQ covers and a tracklist, so I figure it needs a thread.

Regular:

Image

Limited:

Image

As I said before when I mistakenly posted them in their next single thread, I LOVE these covers.

Tracklist:

1 Momoiro Sparkling

2 Hitorijime shitakatta-dake nanoni

3 Yuke! Genki-kun - Hagiwara Mai

4 Sekaiichi HAPPY na Onnanoko

5 Zutaka March ~Hito Rashiku Ikiyou~

6 Tokai no Neon ga Odoroku-kurai no Utsukushisa ga Hoshii - Okai Chisato

7 Kagayake Houkago - Nakajima Saki

8 Shiawase no Tochuu

9 Amazuppai Haru ni Sakurasaku

10 Seishun Gekijou °C-ute ver.

Here's what limited comes with according to CD Japan:

Comes with a bonus DVD with five solo performances singing "Sekaiichi HAPPY na Onnanoko" from the live "Berryz Kobo & Cute Collabo. Concert Tour 2011 Aki - Bericu Island -" held on November 6, 2011" and jacket photo making-of. *Unless otherwise indicated, DVDs are region-2 encoded (Japan, Europe, and Middle East), and carry no subtitles.

Regular comes with a photocard.

I heard Mai did a karoake of her song on her Ustream, but I can't post it at the moment because I don't have Youtube access on this computer.

I am going to say those are the BEST covers to ever come out of H!P. Someone hire that team for every release for now on! <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... umbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> And they gave the underdogs solo tracks. HYPE

C-ute's albums are almost always good so I will definitely give it a listen. Maimi's face looks a bit odd though. Somebody give her a cheeseburger, or that giant parfait Chisato is holding.

What's with the Texaco product placement? And why can't they throw some of the black gold money in for better PV's for MM?

Good covers anyway.

They look appropriately... cute. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /weeeh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':weeeh:' />

I like the giant ReddiWip cans. So they're a 50s diner that serves cupcakes and gasoline?

I wish they would pull a Lullaby Game/11th album and use those outfits in a PV.

I'm guessing whoever is in charge of that cover art is a one time loan. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... lleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

One time in my life I wont be sad to get a regular edition. They both have nice covers. :D

Excited to hear the solos. I hope they all don't suck.

So excited for this album! The regular edition cover looks better than the limited IMO. <3 It would be nice if the album tracks have a retro feel to them too...

Both solos are adorable, I'm betting that Okai's will be a sexy club music track. (and that's why they're waiting to reveal it)

What the hell is a Zuntaka march?

I'm looking forward to seeing the jacket photoshoot video. I guess that's the next best thing to using the outfits in a PV. Also, looking forward to the photos used in the lyrics booklet.

Maimi played some album songs on her radio show.

Zutaka March ~Hito Rashiku Ikiyou~

Hitorijime shitakatta-dake nanoni

Shiawase no Tochuu

Zutaka March is pretty damn cool.

grrrr Nakky's solo was taken off youtube before I could hear it :(

But I'm really liking Zuntaka March... sounds like something only C-ute could pull off nowadays. I wanna see it live~

I dunno about this being one of the best recent H!P albums though, gotta wait and see.

Zuntaka March~Hito Rashiku Ikiyou~ and Hitorijime shitakatta-dake nanoni (since the first one's got taken down). I think I prefer "Hitorijime..."

I like their Risako impersonations in Zuntaka March. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... >/rofl.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

It's strange how this song manages to use a retro brass sound, mixed with "Mini Moni sound" and Okinawa style, but it somehow works.

Hitorijime is pretty great too.

OH YEA Maimai got a PV for her solo. I'm so happy. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /weeeh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':weeeh:' /> Well if I wasn't gonna get this album before I for dang sure am gonna get it now. But it kinda makes we go. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /noway.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':noway:' /> They can make a pv for Maimai(love her) but not one for Gaki who's graduation.

They'll probably make a pv for her cover to come along with her Risa version of the single.

Mai's pv is kinda boring and awkward. Her facial expressions are just weird. Plus the song is kinda blah.

Awww I really like Mai's solo but the PV hardly goes with the song O.o

Chisa's solo is pretty much exactly what I expected... sounds like something I've heard before, and kinda boring...

I love Chisato's song, I hope if it gets a PV, it's badass.

This seems like something that would be a Takahashi, Risa, Reina album track. Not that such things will ever exist again. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... ryalot.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':cryalot:' />

The synth is super intense, but it's really cool when the instrumental punches hard and then fades out completely at the end of each line. Not many H!P songs have done this.

Part of the chorus line sounds kind of like a more upbeat version of that one Reina solo from Fantasy!11, maybe it's around the Ahhh~ part.

Isn't this the sort of thing we fans have been asking for for years??

Solo versions where the girl who hardly sings stands and tries to make cute poses for 5mins are a total waste of time.

Solo versions where it's ONLY that girl singing are cool, put them all in different locations and it starts to get really really awesome.

Wouldn't even cost anything, give a girl a camera and tell her to go somewhere and sing into the camera imagine the craziness that Zukki would get up to!! <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... nceman.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':danceman:' />

I dunno, I wasn't very fond of the solo PV. All I could think while watching it was "this is why you aren't a front girl/she doesn't have much experience emoting as a front girl/she needs to step up her game". Her energy level seemed flaccid/Aika level throughout the whole thing.

I was upset she didn't put more effort into her guitar scene. Something something 70%.
