It's all meant to be a big joke and an extra opportunity for them to plug the 10th gen UStream show with the joke. If you watched the big "announcement" clip, they do a mini troll to make it sound like she's going to announce her graduation. A fan even shouts "Don't quit!!" Then they bring out a table and a sign and she can barely get the announcement out through her laughter (and fake crying).



The image color thing basically exists so idols can sell more merchandise and have a color scheme for outfits. I don't think anyone is making an actual big deal about it, it's just supposed to be cute and funny.

I think Harunan should have been gold, then that would be more like honey. But it's nice to have a yellow again. The concert logo is cute though, now all they need is purple.



Wasn't Ai like gold or something before she became yellow? I think it would be ridiculous if they retired colors, there's only so many unless they want to start getting technical with the names.
